Cleaner Role – 35 Hours Per Week

Excel Housing Solutions would like to appoint a full time cleaner to join our maintenance team.

Purpose of job: To provide a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the projects.

Rate of Pay: £9.40 per hour.

Hours: 35 hours per week. Hours can be flexible and worked around childcare / family commitments.

Based at: 7-9 Walton Village, Liverpool, L4 6TJ, although work is based across Merseyside.

Managed By: Head of Maintenance.

General Duties:

*
Empty and wash out bins in communal areas.

*
Tidy and dust all communal and office areas.

*
Wipe all skirting boards / spindles around properties.

*
Vacuum carpets and stairs.

*
Bathrooms: Wipe all surfaces, Sweep and mop the floors, Clean sinks, taps, tiles bath basins and toilets.

*
Wipe around surface in kitchen, clean microwave, oven and fridges.

*
Keep a check on cleaning materials and re-order via the orders clerk.

*
Undertake any other duties as may be required from time to time.

*
Clean and brush yard.

*
Carpet Cleaning when required.

*
Clean communal area windows (inside only) when required.

*
End of tenancy cleans when required.

Responsibilities:

*
To always work safely using appropriate PPE and keeping working areas free from obstruction / hazards.

*
Report any maintenance issues / concerns / hazards.

*
Undertake regular vehicle checks and report any defects.

*
Ensure any equipment provided is cleaned regularly and stored correctly.

*
Always treat clients with respect and dignity.

*
To work in accordance to EHS’s Lone Worker Policy.

*
To be fully aware of EHS’s Safeguarding Policy and report any concerns.

*
In accordance with the EHS’s Professional Boundaries Policy and Safe Guarding Policy Gift Policy – conduct yourself professionally at all times.

Ensure all buildings, cupboards etc are secure at all times and when leaving buildings.

Attend any training deemed relevant to your role and attend regular supervision sessions.

To work in line with the organisations General Data Protection Regulation

Policy.

To conduct yourself in line with the organisations Social Media Policy.

To be compliant with Excel Housing Solutions (EHS) values, policies and procedures.
