Housing Related Female Support Worker

(fixed term 1 year)

Excel Housing Solutions are currently recruiting a Housing Related Support Worker based across Sefton and Liverpool supporting complex, vulnerable female clients in supported accommodation. Shifts will be worked across 4 days including some bank holidays (set at normal rate of pay) 30 hours per week  £9.00 per hour. (Flexible hours can be arranged)

We support vulnerable people, often with histories including substance misuse, offending, mental ill health and homelessness, to overcome barriers and achieve social inclusion

You will work autonomously to manage your own caseload across floating support and project settings conducting risk assessments and continuously striving to promote independence for service users..

​​Applicants are required to have a bright, positive personality and be able to motivate and challenge people to deliver an effective support service to our clients.

Previous relevant experience required working in similar sector is essential. Level 3 Health and Social Care desirable, driving licence and first aid certificate would be beneficial.

Subject to enhanced DBS and two references one from most recent employer

There is a genuine occupational requirement for the jobholder to be female.​
