Rapid Re-Housing Pathway (RRP Sefton)
Excel Housing Solutions, in conjunction with The Venus Centre, delivers the bespoke RRP service across North and South Sefton. The objective is to support clients that are housed within commissioned supported temporary accommodation services that are ready to move on, but have barriers to housing. We will support them to move on through various interventions and afterwards, there is additional follow on support to support the tenant to resettle into their new accommodation. Clients are expected to be supported for up to 12 weeks, although additional terms can be authorised if addition needs are identified.
Wirral Homeless Prevention and Resettlement Floating Support Service
Working with Wirral Housing Options team, Wirral’s Selective Licensing Team, and other commissioned accommodation providers, our objective under this contract is to provide support to the respective teams to undertake the following outcomes for clients referred to the service:
- Provide resettlement support to clients leaving hostels or temporary accommodation.
- Liaise with landlords regards issues with maintenance of properties, tenant’s behaviour, rent arrears, with a view of resolving any issues amicably.
- Provide support and seek alternative accommodation with Registered Social Landlords or the Private Rented Sector, for tenants that have been identified as living in poor quality accommodation.
Syrian Resettlement Programme
Excel Housing Solutions, working as part of Sefton Supported Housing consortia, has been part of the resettlement programme within the Borough of Sefton since its implementation in 2016.
Enhanced Floating Support Service (South Ribble)
This service works in partnership with the Local Authority to provide an Enhanced Floating Support Service to prevent homelessness and tenancy failure in the Borough. Our work includes advocacy, mediation and tailored advice to meet individual needs and identified outcomes. Clients are supported by a dedicated team using a Strength Based Approach.
Clients will in the main be those whose housing history or support needs present significant barriers to accessing and maintaining accommodation, or where urgent intervention is needed to prevent homelessness.
