Excel Housing Solutions are currently providing supported accommodation for disadvantaged and vulnerable persons. We work with clients in order to eventually move them into their own accommodation and sustain a tenancy. Our services are diverse and we run a number of services aimed at breaking the cycle of homelessness. Our clients present with varying issues e.g. offending behaviour, mental health issues, personality disorders or/and been through traumatic experiences.

We provide high quality supported accommodation in a framework of Psychologically Informed Environments with an approach with is Trauma Informed.

We have a vacancy for a Team Leader based in our 24 hour Homeless Services (run over two projects). The role is assisting the Project Manager in the smooth running of the services in relation to both Service Users and the staff team.

We are looking for someone who is innovative and can think outside the box. Who is confident and lead and motivate a team

The position is a full time, fixed term 12 months (to cover maternity leave), working 36 hours per week over 5 days This will be rotated between the hours of 9am -9:30pm and will include some weekend work.

The successful candidate will receive a salary of £20,423.52 (£10.91 per hour)

The Team Leader should have previous supervisory experience in similar field and should essentially have the following

NVQ 3 in health and social care or above (preferred but not essential)

Previous supported accommodation or hostel experience in a supervisory role (preferred but not essential).

Be able to manage, motivate and inspire a team of recovery workers

Be able to support the Manager to reach targets and achieve outcomes for our service and stakeholders

Ensure the services are run safely in line with Health & Safety legislation and be able to risk manage and safeguard clients

Be able to foster and maintain relationships with outside services

Work in direct support of the Support Manager ensuring the implementation of a Psychologically Informed Environment and supporting those with complex trauma issues

Be available for on call duties
